Join Seabass Adventures as we embark on our most exciting adventure yet.  We will be taking a crash course in diving Burma and the Andaman Sea as well as spending half of our time learning about the local customs and people of Thailand.  By combining world-class diving and escorted over-land tours you will truly have the ultimate Thai-Burma experience.

From the moment we land in Bangkok, around noon the first day, our hired vans and Thai-speaking guides will escort us to our hotel for a short relaxation and then off to dinner and the Bangkok night life.  The next day we have to ourselves in Bangkok to absorb tourist sites, incredible market places, and truly get to know one of Asia’s most exciting cities.  After our second night in Bangkok our first-class motor coach will take us through one of the most beautiful scenic routes imaginable.  Our eight hour journey with knowledgeable guides will wind us through the jungle-mountains and rural villages to give us a true taste of rural Thailand.  We will arrive in the town of Ranong in the late afternoon.

We will board our live-aboard vessel, “The DiveMaster 2,” and clear Burmese customs.  For the next five nights we will be diving in some of the most spectacular, remote dive spots you could ever imagine.  How many people do you know that could say, “I dove in Burma?”  Burma has only been open to foreigners for five years.  With a small population and limited commercial fishing these dive spots are still extremely pristine.

By the tenth day after leaving the US traveling through rural Thailand and diving unspoiled islands we will check into our four-star hotel in the jungle-mountains just above the city of Ranong.  This luxurious hotel was built in the jungle over natural hot springs and has been a favorite of both locals and foreigners for many years.  We will have two days to explore Ranong.  In the area are national parks, elephant tour excursions, and even gambling.  All this, yet Ranong retains its cultural charm without big-city hustle and bustle.

Sadly, we now come towards the end of our once-in-a-lifetime journey.  Instead of a motor coach ride back to Bangkok we will fly a short hour and a half trip from Ranong to Bangkok for our return flight home.

Upon returning home you will reflect on a trip like no other you have ever experienced, filled with memories of amazing dives, incredible cultural differences, sites and natural beauty unlike anything you have witnessed before.  And like any other Seabass Adventure you will return home with a host of new-found friends and yearn for the next Seabass Adventure.

*All for only $2,399, including airfare from Los Angeles, all meals and diving aboard the “DiveMaster 2,” and accommodations and meals in Ranong.  Lodging in Bankok and all ground transportation.
